Avoid Using Oven
When cooking, relying on toaster ovens, microwaves, and crockpots can help cut energy costs.
LED Light Bulbs
Light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs use 75% less energy than incandescent light bulbs while lasting 15 times longer.

AEP Ohio customers can choose an electric supplier and switch to a lower supply rate. Take advantage of energy choice today and start shopping. When you change electric suppliers, the customer will still receive one electric bill from the utility company that will incorporate both the supply and delivery charges. The only thing that will change is the lower rate you pay for electricity.
Customers will not have to worry about any interruption in service during the switch. The new energy supplier will notify the local utility company. The utility company will then be responsible for overseeing the switch. Once the meter read approaches, the customer will automatically be switched over to the new energy supplier. You will not have to worry about contacting your old energy supplier as they will be notified by AEP Ohio.
